Journal of Forensic Economics article
Author Cara Brown's article was accepted for publication in the Journal of Forensic
Economics (JFE) in 2012. It is entitled "Update of Personal Consumption Rates
for Canada, using 2007-08 Survey of Household Spending, varying by family
size and income level." [vol. 23(2), pp. 135-157] PCRs that vary by income level (as well
as family size) lead to larger dependency awards for high-income families.
Independent reviewers accepted only 50% of the articles submitted
for publication to the JFE in 2011.
