For the last ten years everything I have done professionally has related to these critical issues and given me "on the ground" insight and perspective. I am currently a Small Claims Court Deputy Judge and Counsel to the Class Proceedings Committee. I am also Vice-Chair and Treasurer of the Human Rights Legal Support Centre and was previously the President of the Barbra Schlifer Clinic. All of these organizations advance access to justice and support diversity. "I supported term limits as a Bencher so that Convocation would be continually rejuvenated with people who represent the changing face of the profession. Gina Papageorgiou is the kind of person I hoped would run. As Bencher she will bring diversity of skills and experience as well as legal excellence, a high level of integrity and collegiality. I urge you to vote for her."
