The annual conference, which attracts lawyers, judges, law students, and in-house counsel from across Canada, will feature a variety of keynote speakers, continuing profession- al development opportunities, and networking events. This year, the conference will also unveil several new twists that include a variety of green and technology-based efforts, says John Hoyles, chief execu- tive officer of the Canadian Bar Association. "Our goal this year was to make the actual expo a social ex- perience for people, lounge and will have roving in- dividuals with iPads for anyone who wants a social media prim- er. We've expanded to try to make the marketplace aspect of the expo into a bit of a shopping experience as well. Apart from that, we've also gone green with things like reusable water bot- tles and bags. Generally, I think we've created a very strong pro- gram that will be both fun and educational.
